It’s nice to meet you. I’m Kelly.

I am so glad that you have taken the first step to help yourself, your child or your adolescent navigate a mental health challenge that you are facing. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Morris County, New Jersey. I have a strong foundation in working with clients facing life transitions such as divorce and loss or chronic concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and relational issues. I also work with emotional and behavioral concerns such as emotional regulation, anger management and impulse control.

My work as a School Counselor has given me a breadth of experience working with children and adolescents. I started  this private practice because I am passionate about helping children, adolescents and adults who are struggling. My approach is warm and compassionate. It is important to me to provide a safe and comfortable space where we can talk.  I use a wide range of counseling approaches emphasizing the individual strengths and resources of my client. I believe the client/counselor relationship is paramount to successful therapy.

A modality that I use other than individual counseling is small group counseling. Small groups support and enhance the development of personal and social skills and provide social-emotional learning experiences and give child/adolescents a chance to belong, a chance to express themselves, and a chance to benefit from the support of group members. These groups run on an as-needed basis.
